I am flattered beyond words that Amazon chose my book Second You Sin as one of thier top 100 books $3.99 and under for July, 2012. I THINK it's an editorial choice; not one made by computers. So THANK YOU Amazon for helping bring my book to a wider audience. As a great woman once said, maybe, you really like me.
I just wrote a friend about this, and realized I never mentioned it here. It's important, because even though I don't know I'll ever seem a dime from the increased exposure and sales, I wrote these books not to make money, but to be read and enjoyed. Moreover, while they are fun and entertaining, they all carry a deeper theme - that LGBT people are like everyone else, balancing work, family and the need to be loved. In every one of my Kevin Connor books, it's homophobia that's the real bad guy -whether it's internalized or external.
So, thanks again Amazon, and to anyone else who has helped spread the word about the Kevin Connner books, First You Fall, Second You Sin and, soon, Third You Die.They won't change the world, but maybe they'll help a little. (You can click on the picture to see it on Amazon - at least through July!)
